🩺 Dr. Al will see you now
If you've been procrastinating changing an insurance like me, get AI to help you. I asked ChatGPT to compare my current contract with the new offer (hello, file upload!) and made a decision in less than five minutes. Oh, and I found out that my insurance company took out something that I didn't ask for and wouldn't have noticed (not without a magnifier at least).
💎 Gems in Gemini
This short but insightful video shows off some of Gemini's most useful (and free) features. From summarizing YouTube videos to writing code and simplifying dense text, it makes a solid case for keeping (or, in my case, bringing back) Gemini in your toolbox.
🛠️ Tool spotlight
There's a new tool in town and it looks so shiny I was immediately distracted. It's called OwlyGPT, released by Hootsuite, one of the biggest social media management tools. It promises to generate fresh insights, effective strategies, and social content, better than other AI tools. I'll test it out and let you know my findings in one of the next issues.
📸 Try this
Snap a photo of a product (specifically, of the list of ingredients) you're considering buying, like a hair shampoo, and ask ChatGPT or Gemini: "Are any of these known to be endocrine disruptors or potentially harmful?" It might just start saving your budget, as you change your mind about buying one or two things.
📢 Ads for ... bots?
In a strange Al twist, some advertisers are now designing ads with the intention that bots will view and engage with them. It's a weird and wild Al ecosystem where sometimes the only audience is... not human.
👀 Coming soon
OpenAl is preparing to launch a browser that could completely change how we search online. Think ChatGPT meets Google Search. Details are still under wraps, but this could be a major shakeup in how we interact with the web. Let's wait a few weeks until the launch, and see what all the fuss is about.
Till next time,
Jana
